Branch Manager/Sales

This is a great opportunity for a self motivated, experienced, Arborist to “run the show” and be well compensated for it. This is easily a 6 figure position for the right individual. The job consists of managing, dispatching tree and PHC crews, overseeing existing arborist/sales persons and handling a small sales territory.

Located on a highly visible property in the heart of the south shore allows us to better serve our existing clients and develop new ones with an emphasis on Plant Health Care. Equipment maintenance, marketing and administrative support will come from our main facility 35 miles away.

Boston’s south shore has a beautiful coast line that is lined with many great residential properties. We are looking forward to increasing market share with an emphasis on insect & disease control and fertilization. There is much need for controlling hemlock woolly adelgid and winter moth caterpillars.

Candidates for this position need all the credentials and have strong knowledge & background in Plant Health Care operations. Director of Safety & Training

TThis could be considered one of best positions in commercial tree care. Our 50+ field personnel will benefit from a highly experienced, individual committed to safety and to help maintain or improve our safety culture. The training of new and existing employees in the most up to date climbing, rigging and pruning techniques is required. Possession of a class B or greater CDL is required and seeing an employee through the process of acquiring a class A or B CDL is part of the position.

Other Job requirements:

• Facilitate, organize weekly, company safety meetings or equivalent
• Visit crews and provide feedback.
• Liaison between production staff and administrative staff.
• Attend weekly sales meetings.
• Annual reviews of production staff.
• Work with insurance company on loss prevention and manage comp issues
• Update and enforce company safety policy.
• Interface with safety officers of company’s we work for.
• Keep employee records updated.
• Maintain accreditation compliance.
• Discipline, hiring, firing.
• Quality control.

Candidates should be a Certified Arborist, CTSP and be able to climb alongside employees. This has been a salaried position that is negotiable. Tree Climbers

Tree climbing is the backbone of our business and we know it. We are always looking to improve and expand our team of climbers. We prefer 2 years experience but will train a worthy candidate.

Plant Health Care Technicians

Knowledge of plant insects and disease is required for this position. The ability to identify and control landscape pests qualifies you for this position. We are willing to train a worthy candidate

CDL Drivers

Possession of a valid Class A or Class B Commercial Drivers license is a requirement for many of our vehicles. License commercial drivers are more desirable employees than those without this license. Drivers at Tree Tech are expected to drive to and from the job site and perform tree service work while on a job site.
