What does it mean to be a Certified Arborist? It means you've completed a rigorous training process and the International Society of Arborists certifies that you are knowledgeable about all facets of arboriculture. In order to qualify for the exam, you must have three or more years of full-time practical work experience in arboriculture and/or have a degree in arboriculture, horticulture, landscape architecture, or forestry. Only the most diligent tree care experts attain this coveted certification, so there aren't a lot of them, and not every tree care company has one -- let alone ten, like we do. That's how we became eastern Massachusetts and Rhode Island's most trusted tree care experts. We're one of seven companies in the entire country accredited by the International Society of Arboriculture for Utility Arboriculture. That means we have extensive training and experience in electric utility vegetation management. Most companies and most tree care professionals are not certified for this kind of work, which can be extremely dangerous if not done right. To earn our accreditation, we have been tested in a wide variety of disciplines including electric utility pruning, program management, integrated vegetation management, electrical knowledge, customer relations, and storm response.
