Great job removing my very large tree!

Can’t say enough about the great work from this company who responded so quickly to remove a fallen tree from my yard in Malden that was brought down by a wind storm…these guys are Professionals!

Called Tree Tech to have a tree looked at that seemed to be developing issues.

A person actually answered the phone and spoke with me and scheduled an appointment within the next couple of days.

I got an email confirming the appointment.

The arborist showed up right on time for the appointment and explained to me that what I was seeing was normal for the type of tree and the recent weather conditions and said there really wasn’t anything to be done at the moment.

There was no charge and I was happy to hear that the tree wasn’t in a dire situation.

Overall was very happy with their professionalism in terms of taking my call, scheduling the appointment, communicating about the appointment, and the arborist’s punctuality and expert advice.

Will call them again if I see anything else that looks questionable to me.

Tree Tech came on time. Price was about the same as other estimates. Communication was excellent.

I had a great experience with Tree Tech in trimming back some very high trees overhanging my house and pool. James and his crew were very solicitous of my requests, very respectful of mine and my neighbor’s properties. They cleaned up as they went. Then Matt and his crew did a wonderful job carefully trimming and pruning some Bartlett trees that were overgrown. Tree Tech has very professional people, state of the art equipmen, a strong commitment to customer satisfaction. Dan Hale was terrific to deal with and kept us apprised of scheduling, which we appreciated. I would not hesitate to recommend Dan Hale and his Tree Tech associates to anyone looking for top notch tree work, done well at a reasonable cost.

Mike came out to my property in Greater Boston and gave me a very competitive quote, on the spot, for having several trees taken down. We booked the job. The Tree Tech crew arrived on time and were absolute pros from start to finish!

I have for used Tree Tech for over twenty years for large tree removal and tree trimming. They continue to be moderately priced, immaculate in the removal and cleanup, and every worker is pleasant and polite. The office workers are accommodating, Kevin offers great insight when giving an estimate, and the workers are all such gentlemen. I have recommended Tree Tech to both family and friends and they have all been highly satisfied with the finished product. I’m so happy to be able to support a local business!

This was the first time I used Tree Tech and I will definitely use them again. Tom and his team were excellent. They went above and beyond my expectations. We had an emergency in our backyard, as half of our very large oak tree came crashing down. The remaining half was leaning toward our house. Tom rearranged his schedule and came out right away. There cleanup was amazing. They worked 12 straight hours to get the job done the same day. It’s great to see a fantastic company like Tree Tech still exists. Tom was great and a very fair price as well. 5 stars!!!

More cost effective. They will be coming twice a year for various treatment. They are do things more organically. They were great, large crew for a 1/2 day maybe 3/4 of a day. They were incredible efficient, they left no trace if you will, they were very clean about it. I had no idea how much limbs could cost. I was very pleased with them. It was $500 less than the competition. He spent so much time answering questions and I am in a wheelchair so I took a little bit longer to get over to where he was and he would take a leaf and say well this is what we would be working on, do you see this, the reason why we don’t just cut things down, the reason why we take a little longer to prune, we try to take the sunshine in, if you notice it looks like it is alive from the outside and he spread some of the shrubs and it is completely dead wood inside. He was explaining all that in a way, I don’t have a degree in landscaping, that I understood very well. So choices could be made. I was very appreciative of that and then the job that they did which is this tree bark that I am talking about, they explained that it wouldn’t last forever, they explained that they are not just going to come and once and solve all the problems forever. And by the way the stretch of land that I am talking about was at least 80 ft. you should know that for the price and it looked better than I thought and I thought they would have had to put the tree bark all the way which would have impeded the possibility if I desired to, to go down that particular path the other side of this flower bed which I am probably never going to do but they didn’t have to, I happened to mention that it was a concern of mine and when they were actually doing the work they saw that they did not have to. So it looks actually really nice. It is actually pleasing to the eye as well as they paid attention to what my desires are. The explanation which I thought was great, even though it wasn’t what I want to hear, was it was not going to be one fix you know pay this price to me which was going to be a lot of money and be done with it. If I had to spend that much money he made it palatable, so that is saying something. The fact that they actually forgot to send us the bill and I had to call them to make sure I was on the schedule that I was on. They are very ethical.

The crew came out at 8 AM as scheduled and we walked around the property. There were three men, who were intelligent, true arborists who offered their opinions on what they thought would be the way to approach the job, in a way that would make the other trees grow better, by thinning out some additional areas, and I told him “You know what you are doing, you are the professional, and I give you Carte’Blanche to do what you feel is the correct way to get the results we wanted. These guys are artists. Words cannot explain how gorgeous our trees and yard look. I grew up with my father always hacking at trees, and my mother horrified at what he did. Because my job is research for an International Company, I have access to the correct ways that everything should be done, and TreeTech delivered more than words can say. They did not complete the job until after 4 PM, and the three of them took a rake and raked up the entire lawn beautifully. The next day Edgar came to grind the stumps 6 inches below ground level, and explained to me why he could not grind one up, and that was due to the proximity of our Maple trees, and could kill their rooting system. Again, another perfectionist that took pride in his job, and did a tremendous job. Again, he could have grinded that stump anyway, and I would have had a dead tree, and need tree service for a dead tree. We had tree work done back in the 1990’s by another company, who I would have used again, or so I thought until I saw what these men did. I am so impressed, that I intend on hiring them for spraying my trees in a timely manner so I dont have to deal with Gypsy moths in the spring and all the other little insects, that eat the leaves of our beautiful trees. I’m sure this review sounds “Over the top” but it is the truth. Our neighbors are so thankful that they do not have to worry about those Pine Tree branches falling on their vehicles or yard, and the view of our front yard from across the way and street, look like a million bucks. I will try to see if my husband can take some pictures, and if so, I will add them to this report. I have written several reports on Angies List and have been a member since it was a small unknown service. By far, this is the highest praise I have ever given, and I hope that it will continue with other services that I hire. We just came home from driving into the city and bypassing several town commons that Tree Tech services, and they all look like pictures you would see on a calander, due to foliage change. They were all spectacularly shaped and looked like Artist Drawings. Anyone can cut down a tree. However, if you are looking for a quality job, and want your yard to look beautiful, for when you sit out in your home, Tree Tech is the company to hire.

Excellent company. Tom was very kind, and was able to assess the tree that fell and schedule within 24 hours of my first call. They came out when he said he would, and he went above and beyond the required job. He was even attentive to ensuring that everything was filled out correctly for my insurance company. Very responsive, fair pricing, and caring attitude- couldn’t ask for better!

Tree Tech came over to provide an estimate and was very responsive to what we were looking for. Their price was good in comparison to other providers. On the day, they arrived and performed the work. I change my mind on a few bushes we decided to keep and was able to contact the site manager and change the scope easily.

The crew knew what they were doing, were friendly, accommodated a minor on-site change, and cleaned up when finished. Well done.

We had a very large pine tree at the front corner of our lot that was looming over the house and street. The real problem with the tree was its roots had broken up the basement floor (which was too thin to begin with) over the years, and the previous owners hadn’t done much to deal with it. We contacted 4-5 contractors to get estimates. We ended up going with Tree Tech because they were working on a reality show and our job was going to be subsidized by the production company that was doing the show. (We saved 40-50% this way, which is why I put an asterisk on the price.) What should’ve been a 4-hour job turned into an all-day affair, but only because of the production. The Tree Tech guys very professional as they took down our massive tree at the corner of a side street and the main street, dealing with a police detail, passing cars, curious onlookers, the production crew, and rainy conditions. They used a crane to remove each section of the tree and lower it to the ground, where two other guys removed limbs and fed them into a chipper powered by biodiesel. At the end of the day most of the debris had been swept up and carted away, and all that was left of the tree was a three-foot-wide stump. A few weeks later a subcontractor came by to grind the stump. I used a lot of the grindings as mulch around the front of our house and left the rest to settle into the depression where the stump had been. I appreciated that Andy didn’t send us an invoice until after the stump was gone, and we didn’t have to pay any money up front, though that may have been an unusual circumstance due to the TV production. All in all, it was an interesting experience and I would definitely hire Tree Tech again.

These guys do a wonderful job. AND they helped me shovel the plow dump at the end of my driveway before they left. 🙂

They charged us around $2000. Their price was extremely reasonable for the amount of work that they did. They did a really beautiful job of cleaning up the yard when they were done. They actually messed up our scheduling. However, when they realized that they had done this, they had a representative at our door to fix it within 10 minutes of making a phone call. They were really good and we liked them. Their pricing was good. I would use their services in the future too.
